Well So as of sometime last month I was given the opportunity to take a onsite class for archaeology, which of course is my major and I'm so happy about. So I'm going with the Uni to this dig and my grandparents were the blessed people that gave me this opportunity. They are my sponsor to going because I could no way afford this myself. So on the 14th of June I am leaving to Israel on an archaeological dig for school @Khirbet Qeoyafa. The previous year they did well as seen here:https://www.southern.edu/archaeology/excavationsandstudytours/Pages/currentexcavations.aspx and I hope I have a great time as well I am so looking forward to this.
I have a layover in Amsterdam so I leave before the others, that and I'm way out on the West coast lol. So PDX to Amsterdam is the first flight and first destination. I hope to have fun in my quick visit to Amsterdam, I have heard it is a great place from a bunch of friends. Once in Amsterdam I will be sure to try and upload photos and post a blog before takeoff, given I have internet access with my phone.
After Amsterdam I head over to Tel-Aviv, Israel and from there I'm supposed to meet up with the group some how, as of yet and it's still a month out I am not sure how I am supposed to contact them or find them, perhaps I get a private car ride, idk, but we will see.
